If he were taken out in a hit on Uke leaders it would most likely be a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Long before Pearl Harbor the Japanese sank an American gunboat in China. Nothing happened. Nazi Germany sank a US destroyer. Nothing happened. Elected officials are not generally spring-loaded in the start-a-war condition. The article title is hyperbolic to say the least. NATO benefits by keeping the war confined to Ukraine. Russia, on the other hand, would benefit by having a casus belli from which they can threaten nuclear retaliation. I think you’d see NATO moonwalk away from whatever that was at a dead run. One indicator of this is the Russians have switched to a wartime economy. NATO has declared, sure, here’s lots of money but that money must be spent in the local economy...which is not set up for wartime production.

I agree with you. But it’s like with our liberal judges. They tell us that the Constitution means whatever they say it is. It’s all about “interpretation”.
