CNN refused to air an ad that blames President Joe Biden’s policies at the United States-Mexico border for the murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley, according to the group Building America’s Future, which produced the ad.
The six-figure ad buy was run across the U.S., and importantly critical swing states, during Thursday evening’s State of the Union (SOTU) address. Fox News, MSNBC, and Newsmax all accepted the ad.
Executives with Building America’s Future said CNN refused to air the ad.

Based on what, exactly?
Did they not pay for the ad? I don’t think so.
Was the ad lying about Biden? I don’t think so.
Did the ad imply something not true about Biden? I don’t think so.
So ask yourselves - Do we even have a First Amendment, which is designed to permit ‘uncomfortable’ speech without censorship?

Still we are losing freedom of speech. Isn’t it protected freedom of expression to be able to pay to advertised on an FCC regulated public source of information which allows opinion ads? So long as there is no provable slander involved.
Or will people here say is it “free enterprise” and CNN can do what it wants? Like all the social sites that shadow ban, demonetize and cancel anyone non-woke and not showing pro-BLM and pro-Hamas tendencies. And without Bible passages which mean hate speech violations.
After November, 2024 if we lose then will only the information of ads approved by Big Brother be allowed? We’re much more than halfway there today.
They should run an ad with different people/voices saying her name over and over, then close with Biden saying “Lincoln Reily”.
This is EXACTLY why CNN is on the verge of collapse.

How about an add with the names of the hundreds of thousands killed by Chinese and Mexican drugs smuggled across the open border?
Mark Thompson, current CEO of CNN, who reportedly is about to fire Chris Wallace, Tapper and several other over paid anchors, would do well to publish this Ad.
It would begin the thousand mile journey to save CNN as some people who are not viewers today might just start to believe Thompson is serious.
Like in 2020, the media is running Biden’s campaign for him.
