Yeah, I do not understand this fascination about aliens. Nearest solar system to earth would require 200 human generations to reach. And most likely there is no advanced life there. Most people have no concept how sparse the universe is, and how great the distances are between solar systems just inside our own galaxy, the Milky Way. But aliens make good movies and especially for kids.
Aliens also make for pretty good books, like the one I am writing.
