Believable that this could happen. The acceleration on a Tesla is pretty incredible. From zero to sixty it easily beats Corvettes etc. if she pressed the accelerator too much, the car’s electrical motors sent her backwards at high speed. Once in the water, the electrical system failed and doors and windows would not open.
I and three coworkers were in a Tesla owned by one of them. The weight of the people was easily 800-900 pounds.
Acceleration from a stop, or even acceleration from a slow speed to highway speed, was amazing.
It was like the car had no passengers.
Or maybe she was electrocuted by the Lithium battery? Like putting a live wire in a glass of water?

You don’t realize how hackable a Tesla is, everything is run on software from the brakes, accelerator, and steering. You hack a Tesla and you essentially have a drone. Chao was murdered and the Demonrats got their $ billions from Mitch McConnell the brother-in-law.
Are the windows unbreakable? Why is she texting when she should have at least been using the phone as a hammer. You’d think all vehicles would be built to be able to go to a manual unlock.
Well, maybe this is just an effort to make bad press for Tesla.

Our son was driving a friend’s Tesla for a few days so he took us for a ride. You are so right about the acceleration. Between his lead foot and Tesla acceleration it felt like a jet taking off.
That poor soul ... to be trapped in a sinking car.
Electric windows will still work under water with a conventional car.
