The influence of the Catholic Church has indeed waned in Ireland. The moral credibilty of the Church was severely damaged by the perverted behavior of homosexuals within the clergy and the hierarchy. Many especially the young lost their faith. Ireland has now entered an era of neo pagan, hedonistic decadence. Ironic after all the “troubles”, wars and bloodshed over religion during the past four hundred years, the entire United Kingdom and Ireland are united in the same agnostic place.
Ironic indeed. If the 16th century dogmatists knew that all of the UK and Ireland would devolve into a globo-homo trans-fascocracy they would have stopped killing each other.
