I stopped reading after the first 6 paragraphs.
He is now a USA Congressman.
In the recent past, federal employees were not allowed to "Double Dip."
They were not allowed to draw their federal pension if they were also employed with a new federal job - like, Congressman.
I do not know if that is still the law.
I believe our Congressman, Don Bacon (sympathies accepted), receives his congressional pay, plus he is a retired Brigadier General from USAF.
The law in this country depends on who you are and who you know.
