Omar: Can’t Solely Blame Hamas for Lack of Ceasefire, They ‘Showed up’ for Talks and Have ‘Interests
Breitbart ^ | 03/12/2024 | IAN HANCHETT

Posted on 03/13/2024 7:23:00 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

On Tuesday’s “CNN NewsNight,” Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) accused the Biden administration of inaccurately placing the blame for the lack of a six-week ceasefire solely on Hamas because “Hamas showed up to Egypt, it’s my understanding, for the negotiations. It was Israel that refused to send negotiators” to the table and “you have to remember that a ceasefire is not something that happens magically. It is a process that is negotiated by different parties that have interests.”

Host Abby Phillip asked, “So, we just had one of your Democratic colleagues, Rep. Moskowitz (D-FL), on the show last night. He suggested that, for example, when it comes to the Israel-Hamas war, that China is using TikTok’s algorithms to ramp up divisions in this country, and that’s one of the concerns that he has in terms of national security. Do you think there’s any validity to that?”

Omar responded, “What I do think that people are finding discomfort [in] is the fact that, for the first time in our nation’s history, Americans have access to real images of the horrors that are experienced by Palestinians daily and the onslaught that is taking place. This horrific assault on Gaza really is being streamed to every single person here in this country. So, we no longer have to rely on legacy media to get that information. Every single person has the information directly from the mouths of the people who are being slaughtered.”

I don't know who else can be blamed except for Hamas ... after all, they DID have a "permanent" cease-fire before October 7th, and THEY were the ones who broke it.

You break it, you own it ...

I get tired of this raggedy Muzzie biatch. Why didn’t she stay home and make all this miserable political noise and nagging in the craphole she crawled out of? America doesn’t need her racist Muzzie booschidt.

Hamas streamed their rape and murder on Oct 7. The world saw what savages they are. Israel has a right to show no mercy.

The time for negotiations is long over- israel gave palestine and hamas chance after chance after chance to change their murderous tunes, and they refused- now they can reap the consequences of their continued murderous cowardly attacks 9n unsuspecting jews and myriad broken agreements- no more games! Israel warned them repeatedly to back off- but they didn’t take Israel seriously, which was a grave mistake on their part. Now all the terror coddlers are whining that israel is fighting back and defending herself! The palestinians have only themselves to blame- but of course the terror coddlers will blame it all on Israel like they zlways do. Israel in the meantime is doing what it should have done decades ago when the ,palestinian terrorists were blowing up school busses in israel

We know the interests of Hamas: survive, re-arm and commit more terrorism against Israel.

Exactly! IF she is so concerned about hammas, and truly wants peace, then she will call for that exact thing. If she doesn’t, then she and folks like her can pound sand- the time for games is over- hammas kept poking the bear until the bear got sick of it and retaliated- they are responsible for Israel’s reaction, noone else, and they are the ones that can stop the reaction by israel- noone else-

But of course they aren’t serious about peace, they just want to keep killing jews and raping them to death while israel, sits there and and does nothing to protect herself, and the world condemns israel for even trying to defend herself.

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 807; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(2)(J), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)

Hamas and Palestinian terrorists have already, and openly, stated that the US is a target.

Ilhan needs to be tried, found guilty, and executed publicly. Enough is enough.

The hostages are not a matter of negotiation.

Holding hostages is a war crime.

They need to be released at once.

If they are not released, Israel will come get them. Gazan fighters will be effectively dealt with. Gazan civilians should avoid being near those fighters.

Remember the tale of Moses and the Pharoah. Moses asked nicely at first.

There wouldn’t be a need for a *ceasefire* if they hadn’t started it with 10/7.

Maybe there are no hostages, and if there are, Hamas most certainly doesn’t want their story told.

What a horrible excuse for a human being.

Hamas BROKE the cease fire on October 7. It had been in place for years (with some occasional bad behavior by them that was largely overlooked by Israel), until they decided to butcher 1,200 people and kidnap 250 more.

PHUCK Hamas - let them all die. I also won’t mourn this bitch when she gets her well-deserved dirt nap, hopefully after experiencing some of the pain and horror that those in southern Israel experienced on October 7.

Maybe there are no hostages,

It should be presumed that any remaining hostages are dead. The US position should be - release all hostages alive to continue negotiations. Period. And give 'em less than 24 hours to do so.
