The economy and immigration are more important to voters than abortion going into the 2024 presidential election, a Rasmussen Reports survey released on Tuesday found.
Out of 907 likely American voters, 91 percent say economic issues will be important in the 2024 presidential election, including 65 percent who say the economy is “very important.” In comparison, 71 percent say abortion will be important this year, including 44 percent who say the issue is “very important.”
Broken down by political affiliation, Democrats (66 percent) are more likely than Republicans (28 percent) and unaffiliated voters (32 percent) to say abortion will be “very important” in the upcoming election. The result is not shocking, given that nearly a quarter of Democrats are single-issue voters on abortion.

I mean there are married women who use birth control
And men, I imagine they have a little bit to do with creating pregnancies and are quite interested in depending on birth control so as to not have to be committed to fathering and raising a child, just the sex part

There is a camp of these single-issue voters to which abortion is supreme. There could be hyper-inflation and enemy troops marching in their town square, they’d still be picketing for the ‘right’ to ‘choose’
The GOP needs to drop the abortion issue entirely. It does nothing but cost us votes, losing us elections where every other element of the conservative agenda is sacrificed.

Birth control is 90% effective. Anyone who uses Birth control for their relationship or one night stands or in their marriage - anyone- man or woman- has a plan B in the back of their mind for if/when that 10% fail occurs
Most often it is abortion. Some women plan to single parent. Most men passively, I mean simply, allow all the action to happen by the mother while they walk away pretending they’re not fathering an aborted child but they are.
Abortion is birth control. If that means birth control leads to murder or that abortion is the outcome of birth control to you, you would not be alone. Authentic theologians are of that mind

It worked for them in deep red, pro-life states to campaign on abortion in the past couple of election cycles - they have their template and they know it can work - especially when they have many times the cash on hand as the conservative / Republican campaign orgs to control the narrative without the opposition being able to counter it.

I know a slew of nurses who are working, going to school, living in basement apartments in the middle of Long Island raising one child they had with some idiot they adored for a week or more until the pregnancy then he was gone
They raise these kids in MS 13 infested neighborhoods, work their butts off handing out pharmaceuticals for 12 hours then study to hope to raise their standard of living

The fathers of the babies would have preferred it. They have nothing to do with these kids. Offer no money. The kids go to school in nasty places with ‘newcomers’ way too old to be in school.

Abortion in the United States is primarily a black issue. If single black women in the ‘hood want to abort their babies, I’m not going to stand in their way.
I'm certainly not willing to sacrifice every conservative issue in the voting booth in a quixotic effort to stop them.
Someone donor group needs to hire a really good advertising agency to create a bunch of in-your-face ads that pound home the truth-that the supreme court ruled that the rules regarding abortion are entirely up to each of the 50 states-period. No hand wringing, no yelling and no wishful thinking-just what the ruling says. Even stupid people should be able to understand that it. is. up. to. each. state-how simple is that?
If the people in a state want the right to murder the unborn, then let them vote for it-but leave those states that will not do it alone. I live in Texas-if a woman here wants to abort/kill her unborn kid, she can get what amounts to a drive-thru abortion right across the state line in NM-so let her stop whining about her “rights”-she does not have the right to murder a kid here, so STFU...
