Battle Lines Drawn in Ohio: Establishment Goes All In for Dolan While America First Movement Rallies for Trump-Endorsed Bernie Moreno

The establishment is going all in for Ohio U.S. Senate candidate Matt Dolan while the America First movement is overwhelmingly backing conservative candidate and businessman Bernie Moreno in the upcoming Senate primary race in the Buckeye State.

The primary is less than a week away as Moreno — who is backed by former President Donald Trump and top conservatives in the movement — faces off against former globalist institute fellow State Sen. Matt Dolan. Dolan has a controversial history. He once served as a fellow for the Aspen Institute — a Soros-funded globalist institution — which the  Economist described the  as a “mountain retreat for the liberal elite.” He has also accused those of wanting to end the war in Ukraine of being appeasers of Vladimir Putin, appearing to put that issue above securing the United States’ southern border.

And in 2020, Dolan backed the idea of racism being a “public health crisis.”

He is backed by the likes of former U.S. Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) and Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, who deviated from Trump and the America First movement by backing Dolan over Moreno in the three-way race, which also includes Frank LaRose, who has described himself as a “pragmatic moderate.”

But the America First conservative movement is all in on Moreno, and endorsements continue to roll in for the businessman.

“Thank you @ted.budd for your support and endorsement!” Moreno said on social media, announcing his latest endorsement and noting that he has over one dozen conservative senators formally backing him.

“I am honored to have 15 of the top conservative Republican US Senators supporting my campaign,” he said.

I’ve seen this happen before, here in Jacksonville, Fl, we have a lunatic Female Democrat as Mayor, after the 2 leading Republicans spent millions destroying each other in the primary when the general election rolled around, enough of the losing Republican voters in the primary failed to show up in the general giving the election to the lunatic liberal.

I fear this happening in Ohio, where defeat will be snatched from the jaws of victory after the 2 Republicans spend all their money savaging each other giving the election to the Democrat.

“America First” party?

Wasn’t that Charles Lindbergh’s group in 1936?

The GOP establishment is fine with Democrats winning as long as they get their fair share of the loot.

~~~
Except that this is a primary race, and there is a third republican running. Frank LaRose.
I don’t trust either Moreno nor Dolan, so I am going to find out more about LaRose before next Tuesday.
Friends don’t let friends vote for liberal scum like Matt Dolan.
Democrat crossovers have a good chance to put Dolan over the top this time, like they tried to do in 2022.
Thank LaRose too for helping Dolan by taking votes away from Bernie.
I think you have it about right. idk about crossovers, the primaries are closed, but whichever wins will have a tough hill to climb. Sherrod Brown should not be underestimated.
That doesn’t explain how JD Vance won the last primary as well as the general. Mighta been the humble beginnings put in book form as well as on the big screen. Democrats had an excellent candidate as well as a top notch campaign. Still they lost.
Looks goon but unlike ‘22 there’s an incumbent. Cheaters will be working overtime as well as in Mt.
Ugh. This the base vote splitting that has enabled Rino’s for years. LsRose may bleed off enough Moreno votes put Dolan in. Mctraitor Flake Graham Murkowski so many others all slid in because the base split. The GOPe always uses this weapon against the base. Don’t do it.
This Dolan character bears an uncanny resemblance to George Will. Maybe just a coincidence, of course, but not reassuring to say the least.
