Cool, which one is he

\/

you do realize their position dont you ?

we are under enemy occupation

their commands and orgs are under enemy occupation

they are now effectively the patriot resistance remnant

they dare not name themselves

but they need to know we support them

if we damn them all to hell

we are throwing away our beach head.

And you do realize that the "good" cops will stand behind and fully support the "bad" cops, don't you?

Thin blue line and all that.

Based on decades of experience I assume every cop I have any dealings with is a good cop.

So far that assumption has been valid except in one case, a non-injury two car accident, my Subaru and the Bharman's SUV were totaled, with a CHP officer on 395 by Walker.

Generally CHP are better that the average cop, this guy was the exception.

How much of an exception? When a second CHP officer showed up to the scene of the accident the VERY FIRST thing he did was apologize for his conduct. I hadn't said anything, he didn't talk to the other officer, but knew he'd been verbally abusive.

How much of an exception? When I later related the story to a co-worker (a fire part time fighter) he named the officer!

After the second officer finished apologizing, I shrugged and said he's a burn out, and asked if he was a friend of his. "Yes." I suggested that he counsel him out of law enforcement, lest he mouth off to the wrong guy and end up with a section of freeway named after him.

I hope he did, but I suspect he stood behind him.

The second officer stayed with me for the hours it took for a tow truck to show up. Good thing, since one of the first people to show up was an off duty fire fighter who did me the "favor" of cutting my battery cable, leaving me with an open window I couldn't close during a bitter snow storm. Just as I was getting ready to ask the officer if I could sit in his car since I'd stopped shivering, he was at my window inviting me to do that very thing.

Probably saved me from expiring due to hypothermia...
