STORM REPORT: “Mass casualties” being reported in Winchester per Indiana State Police at 9:06pm
Incredible. The nonstop thunder and lightning, the wind noise, the size of that beast.
I lived through one big one in Chesterfield, MO around 1967 or 68. We were huddled in the basement under mattresses. It skipped over our neighborhood and demolished the one to the west of us and one to the east of us. Nothing was harmed on our property.
Then, of all things, we had one in the 90s in our San Francisco Peninsula town! It wasn’t big by midwest standards, but it demolished some sheds, tore down the high school tennis court fencing, ripped off some roofing. It went right over us (again!) and hit across the street a couple doors down from us.
You can see in the video how they form, get big, touch down, break up and pull up into the sky, the reform and repeat.
Prayers up on steroid.
Grew up in Indiana and Ohio.
Great people.

Since I moved to north Texas, I pay much more attention to the weather. This guy is one I keep an eye on when there is a weather threat, to know what is coming toward me. He isn’t active on Rumble.
