The subject of the article is about a portion of the Ukraine-Russia war, specifically how Russia is requiring passports in the area they now control due to the war's effect to date. The context is the Ukraine-Russia "officially" non-NATO war.
As I wrote in my comment, " ALL is subsumed under the larger rubrics of government and debt. The current US government, post-Nuland, is still Biden's administration in all its activities and foci and expenditures, of which the Ukraine-Russia war is one among many. And the current US debt is rising very rapidly. 34.5 trillion USD, because the nation and its economy are now operating on a gigantic credit card."
More money and materiel for Ukraine? It runs the tab on that gigantic credit card by whatever amount is next "put on the tab."
Your (and each kid / grand kid you might have) are ON THAT TAB currently for about $266 thousand "per taxpayer." It probably doesn't concern you, but it concerns me. And the tab rises. That's "what the heck" what I posted has to do with the article.
