Lack of a powerful State and co-optation of the GOP by libertarians.
Capitalism is an economic system, not a system of government. Without strong regulation, the State is co-opted, the strong prey on the weak, and eventually you have societal collapse - just look around you.
The Declaration says the People have the right to change their form of government to whatever one secures their Safety and Happiness.
Are you safe? Are you happy?
A powerful State, currently destroying capitalism, is the fault of NOT having a powerful State... because of free market capitalists (libertarians)?
