This is an important point and perspective. The debate is always “if you are not for capitalism then you are a socialist”. But corporatism is lumped in as a form of capitalism and it is not at all, it is actually fascist and anti-capitalism. It is an ignorant stance to defend corporatism as capitalism. They are completely polar opposites and the debate about these two has nothing to do with the concept of socialism.
Corporatism is BlackRock, MS, State Street, and other corporations who have the power to enslave and rule the world through financial extortion and debt.
You left out the pressure they can bring to bear on the government to induce *IT* to do their bidding. I seem to remember the US was involved in past military sabre rattling regarding sugar, rubber, etc.
