The downside of war is borne by the populace, so doesn’t figure into the calculations of the elite.

In case you haven't noticed, our borders are being flooded with migrants. Obviously, Israel isn't doing anything to stop it.
Israel is not some "front line" that's holding back Muslims from flooding the West. Mideast wars are actually driving Muslims into the West.
It's hardly misleading, as it reflects several generations of U.S. policy.
