Amazon is building an $11 billion data center campus just a few miles away from the North Anna Nuclear Generating facility in Louisa County, Va. I think it will just take the plant over eventually and all of the juice for itself.

They’re forcing everyone to go electric.

What do the idiots expect? Demand will go DOWN??????

And in others news, regional grid operator PJM, projects 40 GW of generating capacity retirements in the next 6 years. Nearly all of it dispatchable thermal generation.

Net Zero idiots about to meet reality.

Maybe take the closed nuclear plant out of mothballs?

And what could,be causing the new surge? Surely not the fact that people are being forced to go all electric everything- oh heck no- that couldn’t be it! /s

But regardless. Man could cause climate change if we multiplied the world’s energy production/use 100 times. There stil. Wouldn’t be enough co2 to move the needle one iota since our total c02 production amounts to just 0.00136%. Think about that- only 0.00136% of the atmosphere has co2 in it caused by man! Nowhere near enough to block heat from Escaping! To suggest that it is enough is to suggest that a piece of cloth which has only 0.00136% coverage on the body is “causing massive overheating for the person-

Or, take a bowl, fill it with 100 degree water, then somehow fashion a very thin lid which only covers 0.00136% of the top, and tell me if it causes massive overheating in the bowl, and tell me that it prevented enough heat from escaping that the bow couldn’t cool off to room temperature properly.

“Ignorance and Stupidity pretends there are any achievable “climate goals”.”

Oh, there are. And they’re working busily and 24/7 on new and more innovative ways to achieve their main goal connected to “climate change”. That being... depopulation of the planet.

I don’t know how it is in other states but here in Texas, all our “asylum-seeking refugees” are driving brand new fossil fuel pickups and SUVs before the Rio Grande mud on their Nike Air Jordans is dry.

for those who only drive a few miles to work, never take road trips and have a workplace that provides free charging.. it might be a good deal. Until.. the battery needs to be switched out, which will total the car basically.

The whole thing is a mess.

Good thing EV sales collapsed. Cute how the authors are worried about the US not reaching the idiotic climate goals but not the unnecessary misery caused by this

“ In Kansas, one utility has postponed the retirement of a coal plant to help power a giant electric-car battery factory.”

Well there you go

“They’re forcing everyone to go electric.”

Because electric is easier for them to control.... and to ‘shut off’... if and when they find the need to do so. And they will.

They are already demonizing propane gas... as well as trying to eliminate fossil fuel usage (gasoline) altogether. Eliminate that and people will be dependent either on electric power... or old-fashioned wood-burning stoves. What do back-up generators run on? They don’t want you to have a “back-up” for when they turn the lights off.

More population = more power requirements.

More electric cars = more power requirements.

More journalism from the NYTimes reprinted in the Seattle Times means more blather blathering on!

My private climate goal for today is to dig in a new flower bed. No government or media input is welcome. The sun will provide some additional vitamin D by the simple consequence of being out on a lovely spring day.

Time to lock down again. This time, let’s ration all energy use by non-elite citizens.

And Chevy pickups are being stolen like never before. Have a friend in Houston that just had his Chevy work PU stolen last month in front of an Academy store in broad daylight.

Let’s see. A gazillion electric vehicles, which we’ve warned would overload the grid, certainly couldn’t be the problem, could it?

The Bidenites think it is so wonderful that Jo Jo the Pedo is allowing all these foreign construction workers into the U.S. The problem I have with that communist BS is, Walmart, Home Depot and Lowe’s all have to keep their merchandize locked up in cages. I’m still pissed that because of the Muzzie Terrorist influx of maggots into America, I can’t carry a pin knife with a two inch blade in my pocket anymore. That’s something I always was able to do back when AMERICA WAS GREAT and hadn’t been turned into a third world sh*thole by the DemocrRAT “neucumers”.
