He can appeal, without getting the money, but, to stay the decision, while he appeals, he would have to put up the full amount, as a bond.
But no one is standing in the way of an appeals court stopping an attempted theft. Without it the damage is irreparable.
BTW if they succeed in this and Trump becomes President , I suggest he have three or four C130s fully loaded with illegals gathered up throughout the country and fly them into New York City.
The DA set the ‘fine’ that high and the judge required it to be paid in 30 days, to cause this to happen. Did they actually collude for it to happen? Don’t know, but they sure wanted it to happen by their “individual” actions.
