A new psychological assessment has been developed to measure the endorsement of attitudes related to critical social justice. Findings from its application in a Finnish study reveal that stronger alignment with these so-called “woke” beliefs correlates with heightened instances of anxiety and depression...
One of the central revelations of the study was that critical social justice attitudes are not as widespread in Finland as might be inferred from public and media discussions. Overall, the findings suggested a cautious reception towards critical social justice among the general population. This observation was particularly pronounced among male participants, who showed considerably lower agreement with the statements compared to their female counterparts.
“The gender divide was probably most surprising to me,” Lahtinen told PsyPost. “Three out of five women view ‘woke’ ideas positively, but only one out of seven men...
Higher levels of agreement with critical social justice were notably present among individuals who identified with left-wing political parties and female university students in fields such as social sciences, education, and humanities. On the other hand, individuals associated with STEM fields and right-wing political affiliations tended to show lower agreement with critical social justice principles...
...these associations were more strongly correlated with participants’ political orientation than with critical social justice attitudes per se. Specifically, being on the political left was more predictive of lower mental well-being than high critical social justice scores alone. This suggests that the link between critical social justice attitudes and mental health is complex and may be mediated by broader political and ideological beliefs.

Woke = shit-for-brains. Change my mind.
Woke = anxiety, depression, and a lack of happiness = violent & dangerous lowlife, subhuman, hate-America leftists, commies, liberals, socialists, racists, progressives, Marxists, fascists, anarchists etc etc etc
That’s because they have a few screws loose
anxiety, depression, and a lack of happiness certainly describes every liberal I’ve ever been around.
Link that with most of ‘em are pro abortion agnostic or full blown atheists, they really have nothing to live for other than money or power.....and what a sad empty life that must be.
It’s true, and it’s a big problem, because those leftist losers feel like they have nothing to lose, and want to take us down with them.
30% if liberals have been diagnosed as clinically depressed.
The rest haven’t been to head doctor yet.
It’s one result of the chickification of society.
their whole existence is victimhood... ever met a happy victim???
They forgot to add...lack of any ability to thinks.
Oops, think. I had a Biden moment. Arghhhhhhhh.
“their whole existence is victimhood... ever met a happy victim???”
I told one who was bragging about his benefits, “They will always give you enough to keep you barely going yet in distress, but never enough to make you free.”
I got a long silent stare and a subject change.
Wokism is of satan.
100% and you always will...
They need Jesus. The only way. Without, one finds one’s self longing. Amen.
30% of liberals being treated for severe mental illnesses.
The other 70% are running around completely untreated.
Also to drug addicted whore-mongers like Hunter Biden... the ‘entitled’ jerks of the world. And fools like AOC... again ‘entitled’ people who feel the world ‘owes them’.
We don’t need a study to tell us this either.
“”Study: “Woke” attitudes linked to anxiety, depression, and a lack of happiness””
What a Surprise! /ssssss
Rush talks about this often. Pessimism is easy, lazy. Some of us have been practicing optimism for so long, it is now part of us. People at work hated when I would be happy and energetic on a Monday morning. When they would actually listen, I would try to instill in them the concept that happiness and optimism is a choice. Why on Earth would anyone choose anything else? Yes, there are times when life gets difficult, personally and/or professionally. But if you have trained your soul and your core to recognize and appreciate the myriad daily blessings, difficult times are less challenging.
As Rush states:
“”Just as you will not find in your library Great Moderates in American History, you will not find Great Pessimists in American Life””
Reminds me of Paul Ehrlich, who is still at Stanford University. NOTHING he has ever written or predicted has come true, yet to the pessimistic Globull Hoaxers, he walks on water.
Bkmk.
