Schumer is a self-hating JINO (Jew in name only) who rejected any meaningful connection with his received religious tradition or its moral/ethical teachings years and years and years ago. Long a fan of the Soviet Union and Cuban communism, at least since the 1980s when he visited the USSR, he has never significantly wavered from extolling the communist party line since TMK.
There are such people. The Jews have their share, indeed likely more than their share. The Catholic church and Protestant denominations have similar “rejects” — a number of whom replace the faith and morals of their parents or grandparents with various far left wing ideologies that may “sound good” on first blush. Communism may sound good at first blush —but most people who are attracted to its “humanistic” claims find out how oppressive it actually is in practice... and leave it behind them.
