My son visited California last week. He used to live there. He was shocked, but he was also shocked by his old friends. They all are doing worse - paying more, getting less, working 2 jobs because they can’t find one decent job for 40 hours/week.

I have a cousin who is far left liberal- she is totally unreasonable. She is allowed to denigrate repub,icans, but when we use facts to denounce her asinine claims, she holds her “stop hand” ✋️ and informs us that 1: she refuses to talk politics (after just screaming politics at us), and 2: she “isn’t interested in alternative facts”
We don’t speak anymore. No sense to- she turns everything into an asinine liberal political statement and gets pissed when people easily contradict her
