As an aside to the story , can’t remember where but it was in Europe somewhere. They built a much heralded carbon capture plant, and what did they do with that carbon? Give it to Superman to throw into the sun, zap it with the enterprise’s photon torpedos?
Nope piped it to nearby greenhouses and sold to soda and beer companies
Net change in CO2, less than zero considering the plant itself has a carbon footprint.
