MEXICO — Following Tuesday’s pause on Senate Bill 4, Mexico warned the law would lead to discrimination of the Mexican and Latino communities and “tensions” between the U.S. and Mexico.

Mexico expressed concern about Texas attempting to enforce its own immigration laws that usurp the Biden administration's stance. Abbott has long been at odds with the administration on the issue

“Mexico is deeply concerned that SB 4 will be applied in a discriminatory manner and fears that its enforcement will lead to improper harassment, detention, removal and criminalization of Mexican citizens and individuals of Latino appearance,” the brief reads.

Nice to know we are a sovereign country.
Translation: “We are invading you and the Democrat Party is helping us do it.”

Abbott, for his part, released a statement Thursday denouncing the lawsuit as “baseless.”
“It’s clear that Mayor Adams knows nothing about the Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution, or about the constitutional right to travel that has been recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court. Every migrant bused or flown to New York City did so voluntarily, after having been authorized by the Biden Administration to remain in the United States,” he said.
“As such, they have constitutional authority to travel across the country that Mayor Adams is interfering with,” he added. “If the Mayor persists in this lawsuit, he may be held legally accountable for his violations.”

It will not affect a single Mexican citizen living in Mexico.
I looked it up the other night, as of 2021 around 28 percent of all Mexican citizens were now in the US. Bet that number is much higher now thanks to Biden. We’ve been invaded, occupied, and they are telling us what to do.
Question: Can anyone lead me to the law that requires the USA to take in migrants from other countries, or asylum seekers???
I am well aware of our immigration laws for those who seek permanent residency (green cards). There are continental quotas set limiting them and they are good sensible laws. (but not enforced)
But the migration and asylum laws, I w1ould like to read.
They’re all going back!
Mexico needs to mind its own stinking business.
When they’ve fixed their own problems, then they can get back to us and let us know what worked.
How much money does Mexico receive from the US?
SAN DIEGO (Border Report—Feb 8, 2024)
More than $63 billion in remittances were sent to Mexico in 2023,
with most of the money arriving from the US, according to
Banxico, Mexico’s central bank.
The figure is a 7% hike from the previous year.
We can't even stop them at the border, no one is seriously discussing sending them home.
If they have hearings 7-10 years out, can they be advanced?
If they have work papers, can they be rescinded?
If they are getting benefits, can they be stopped?
Do we even know where they are?
And then we've got the ones that have had no contact with the feds.
I fear we are stuck with as many as 60 million illegals.
Trump 1.0 failed to deport them, Obama deported more. I hear nothing to suggest Trump 2.0 will do differently. As far as I've seen he has said nothing serious and specific about deporting illegals, pending asylum seekers, etc. Heck, he let H1B stay here, increased their numbers. Sure, he'll do more than Biden but not enough, mostly talk I suspect.

Their Pres must be afraid of losing his monthly income from the Cartels.
Shut up, Mexico , we kicked your a—s once, we can do it again.
Sounds very much like you don’t want the illegals to go back.
No, I want them gone, alive or dead, voluntarily or at gun point. I just fear or elected leaders don’t share my desire. No one, not even Trump, is explaining how hearings can be rescheduled/canceled, work permits canceled, and they be deported. And up to 60 million, if the effort was to occur over four years, that’s over 40,000 each day.
Well, I think Trump knows the best way to get people to do things.
It has to do with income. This is what brought the illegals here in the first place. Even the military operatives among them.
They’re all going back. In spite of any posters on this website hoping they don’t.
I haven’t really seen many people, very very few, that welcome or make excuses for them to stay. Mostly for DACA illegals. I think we are all pretty universal on them needing to go, problem is just how when elected officials, courts, etc., don’t have the same goals.
