He’s just a quitter.
What’s cowardly is that he hides behind his family in explaining his vague reason to leave early.
Not buying that. He picked an arbitrary date to retire that just so happened to be right after the deadline for backfilling his seat with a special election? He was blackmailed or bribed, get real.
