“Trump & Biden are in the same position, the winner gets a second term, the loser is finished in politics forever.”

Lol.

The Democrats will dump Biden like a bad habit the first chance they get—and their base will be fine with it.

President Trump is a true larger than life figure—the only person in American history to win the Republican nomination for President three times in a row—the most viciously attacked by his own party’s establishment, the mass media and lawfare in American history—because he fought for the average person against the insanity of the power-mad billionaires who want to turn the country in a leftist dystopia dumpster fire.

The movement he began in the Republican Party will affect American politics for many decades if not generations.

I laughed that you had to post that! They canโ€™t take a joke and certainly only recognize ad hominem attacks as a legitimate form of developing an argument on their behalf.
I still wonder if all these ever Trumpers are for real. A month ago I was on the 50/50 side. After Trump effectively won the nomination I am leaning 60/40.

The “drama” surrounding Trump was caused by the democrats and the RINOs, not by Trump himself.

If Trump loses, that's on Trump supporters who continue insulting and trashing fellow Republicans.

The rest of us will share a clear "I told you so." Trump can't and won't win without building up beyond his cult base.

You are on to why Trump has little chance in the general.

(Don't blame me, I'm voting for whomever wins the GOP nom, likely Trump. I do wish Mister Trump didn't somehow love making enemies when he desperately needs allies, however.)

Misleading title and taking what DeSantis said out of context.

Florida is a sure vote for Trump in 2024. The GOP's time, effort, and money are better spent in other states (assuming they actually support Trump like they should). If only out of necessity, DeSantis will support Trump in Florida to maintain his clout among Florida voters. The questions are what role DeSantis has in the national campaign, or if it is even necessary. Those questions do not have clear answers.

The whole premise of the article is a loaded question "will DeSantis help Trump nationally" to a predetermined answer of "no". When in fact, DeSantis has not made his decision, and may offer nothing to aid Trump outside of Florida.
