He's partially right.
Present law allows anyone to claim needing "asylum" and the minute they do they are given a court date, perhaps years in the future.
This makes them, for the time being "legal".
The stupid GOP congresscritters, salivating at a campaign issue to use against democrats by not acting and allowing the flooding of the USA with "asylum seekers" have slit their own throats (and ours).
