The Washington Compost, a bastion of liberalness reported that the CIA had detailed information from the European intelligence service that Ukraine was planning to blow up the Nordstream Pipeline, three months before the event occurred. The article says the CIA told other European countries, but it doesn't say it told Russia. And when the Washington Post asked Ukraine officials, The White House and the CIA to comment on the facts of the report, they declined.

What a stupid comment. Besides the fact that Russia did warn the U.S. of a terrorist threat, what does ‘democratic & authoritarian have to with it? If Iran were completely democratic, but still viewed the U.S. as the ‘Great Satan’, I doubt they’d take the time to warn us about anything.
