The newly elected members of Congress elected in Nov 2024, will be the members of Congress who will certify the electoral votes on Jan. 6,2025. So even if somehow Democrats gain control of the House this year, we still have to see how the Nov 2024 elections turn out.
For what reason would Gallagher specifically choose to resign after the deadline, creating animosity and screwing other republicans?
He has to have some motivation other than just wanting to resign if he is willing to burn the bridge on his way out the door.
Does he have some sort of a deal going with democrats or other Never Trumpers?
Their strategy is to get corrupt judges to disqualify Trump electors BEFORE electors cast their votes in December in their respective states. It’s far from impossible given the corrupt Roberts’ Court with his chimp pets ACB and Kavanaugh.
True but the same establishment types that drove George Santos out will all Gallagher to hang on until his seat can’t be replaced until the end of the year.
