I am shocked the Peoples Republic of Minnesota isn’t on this list. Last year our leftist majority Legislature toyed with a bill that would require all new lawn and garden equipment sold or distributed in Minnesota after Jan. 1, 2025, to be powered solely by electricity, In essence this would ban gas powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers, hedge clippers, chainsaws, lawn edgers, string trimmers, and brush cutters. Though gasoline powered Zamboni machines used to resurface the ice at hockey rinks were added to the proposed list of contraband equipment, even the leftists in the Legislature could not stomach extending a ban to include gasoline powered snow blowers. Perhaps the experience this past winter where EV charging stations became graveyards for frozen EV batteries, might have given the leftist loons pause as the typical Minnesota winters could easily freeze every EV in the state.

Bye bye Toro.
wonder how the EV’s are working in Duluth after 20 inches of snow? banning gas or diesl to plow the roads would be a non starter
