Attended a ceremony there for American veterans, his granddaughter was there, she laid a wreath on his grave and then we (My dad and I) attended a dinner and she spoke and interacted with the vets there, giving them all the “card” that Patton had given out with a copy of the prayer he
credited with stopping the rain so the Allies could advance. My dad still had his card, showed it to her and she was shocked to see it.
