Never thought of the Six Million Dollar Man as being in any branch of service...I don’t remember it being any part of the show....
11/11/ per the site. If you can recall, the opening credits and scenes of the program was him crashing a plane (as an AF test pilot) in a pretty drastic fashion. It was the reason they were able to accessorize him.
You don’t remember “Colonel Steve Austin?”
He crashed an x-plane in the opening, that’s why they built him back better.
Experimental lifting body aircraft would pretty much have to be Air Force...
