On Tuesday’s broadcast of NPR’s “Morning Edition,” Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer stated that the disagreement between the U.S. and Israel over a ground incursion into Rafah “is not the first time we’ve had a disagreement with the United States over our military operations.” And that “Even at the beginning of the war, there was a disagreement” between Israel and the Biden administration about “whether we should go in with a ground campaign.”
Dermer said, [relevant remarks begin around 6:50] “Well, the United States, the president had asked the Prime Minister to send a delegation so that the United States could present its ideas for some alternative to a major military operation in Gaza. Now, this is not the first time we’ve had a disagreement with the United States over our military operations. Even at the beginning of the war, there was a disagreement [about] whether we should go in with a ground campaign. Now, that ground campaign proved very, very effective. And without it, there’s simply no way to dismantle Hamas’ military organization. And that’s the key goal of the war, that has to be accomplished to ensure that October 7 can never happen again, and we’re well on our way to accomplish it.

This is a very diplomatic way of saying “GFY” to Biden.

We’ve been saying that about Brandon for a while now. Welcome to the party Israel.
“I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,” former Defense Secretary Robert Gates says of Vice President Joe Biden.
It’s the “Let the wookie win” strategy...
Biden has no say in what Israel does or doesn’t do. At a stretch, he shouldn’t be trusted to have a say in which flavor of pudding he wants.
The Gaza Strip is tiny and the same size as Las Vegas. What’s taking IDF so long?
A ground invasion is not necessary if you accept the goal of a miles wide uninhabitable zone all along the border. Just announce demolition/fire bombing and then do it.
Adopt Roman solution to the “Carthage problem”.
Who cares what the Biden administration say’s, Kill them all.
It’s not just Biden - it’s the entire Deep State.
Just about every time Israel retaliates and gains the upper hand against muslim aggression the UN and USA step in to save the muslim terrorists
and stop Israel from totally wiping them off the face of the earth.
They did it in the Six Day War, the Yom Kippur War, the 40+ years of conflicts with terrorist forces in Lebanon (i.e.: PLO, Abu-Nidal, Hezbollah), the 2006 Lebanon War, etc., etc.
The US State Dept. has a history of being rabidly pro muslim and it is worse now than it ever was.
Now the Biden administration has created an atmosphere where Anti-Semites and muslim terrorist enablers no longer feel they have to hide in the closet.
They are now on the streets and in our face every day and most authorities do little or nothing to stop the overt hate and violence.
This is a similar path of cultural hate that lead to the Nazification of Germany in the late 1930s and early 1940s.
“Just announce demolition/fire bombing and then do it.”
Not sure if this is the way. The only sucessful way to rid an area of terrorists is to take away their foothold. You make the locals decide it isn’t worth having them around and they throw them out.
Hamas is scattered all over the world so eliminating them is not going to happen. Other groups like Hezbellah are already on the edge of the conflict and are supporting Hamas as the Jewish people are the target, not the freedom of Gaza.
Plus, because of the, so called, do gooders, the US with other countries from organizations like the UN will just help them rebuild and in a few years they will be right back to the same scenario. This has been going on for a few thousand years with the exact same outcome. Only difference is each generation had better toys, some to destroy and some to rebuild.
They have to be tossed out of Gaza. And an outside source is not going to get them out as long as the locals tolerate the results of their being there and the inciting actions the terrorists take that require response. The locals have to do it.

yes you are correct (as usual) again
the Biden regime was hoping that the Jews would just roll over and die
the Puppetmeisters controlling the Biden regime are not friends of USA, Israel, Christians, Jews, or our civil liberties. Not in the slightest. They’re doing everything they can to destroy America and the West
The “locals” seem to be Hamas...or their supporters
Clearing miles of tunnels and urban warfare generally is a time consuming and bloody affair. Every step is a potential mistake. Plus, the IDF has to be mindful of civilian casualties as the whole hostile media is eagerly waiting to jump on them if they don’t watch out.
It's not hypocrisy because they themselves are committing suicide and are mighty pleased with themselves about it.
“The “locals” seem to be Hamas...or their supporters”
For you and I, and in reality, they are as the locals elected them and then allowed them to stay in there. But too many of the people away from the situation like in the US, see the locals as poor innocent victims of the situation even though they allowed themselves to get into it and are not trying to stop it but bailing or offering themselves to help it allowing it to continue. And the US is enabling it to continue by trying to protect those poor innocent people from their own actions financially and using our morals to assist Hamas instead of them. Best thing we can do is let Israel protect itself and be a good ally and just shut up and stay out of the way. Same thing as the Ukraine.

Yes...I totally agree
