TORZHOK, Russia (Sputnik) - Statements about alleged plans of Russia to attack Europe after Ukraine are nonsense, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.
During a working visit to the Russian town of Torzhok in the Tver Region on Wednesday, Putin met with military pilots.
"What is being said that we are going to attack Europe after Ukraine - it is utter nonsense and intimidation of own population just to beat the money out of them, out of their people. Especially against the backdrop of the fact that the economy is shrinking and living standards are falling. It is obvious, and everyone recognizes it," Putin told pilots.
The president added that satellites of the United States are "afraid of big and strong Russia," but they do it for nothing as Russia has "no aggressive intentions against these states."
"This is utter nonsense - the possibility of attacking some other countries, Poland, the Baltic States, the Czechs are being frightened. It is just nonsense and another way to deceive their population and to extract additional expenses from people, to make them bear this burden on their shoulders, and that is it," Putin said.
Russian president stressed that he has no doubt that the Russian Armed Forces will fulfill their assigned tasks. The head of state had a conversation with military pilots during the working trip. One of the pilots told Putin the Russian Armed Forces would fulfill any assigned task.
“On behalf of all servicemen, let me express my deepest gratitude and respect to you and reassure you that you can count on the personnel of the Armed Forces. We will fulfill any task you set, we will not let you down,” the pilot said.
“I have no doubt,” Putin replied.

In other words, “This is my final territorial demand”
LOL
The more important question is “who will the CIA attack next?”
I sometimes think these small wars are going so large nations can test their equipment to see what works and what doesn’t.
To Putin
You lie. I know you lie, Europe knows you lie

My favorite is the absolute contradictory statements of:
1. Russia can’t even take Ukraine in 2 years and is full of inbred drunks.
2. Russia is going to take over all of Europe.
You mean Russia isn’t overthrowing democracies on the US border and recruiting new Warsaw Pact members? Russia isn’t putting nuclear weapons near American soil? And Russia didn’t take ALL of Georgia?
This is the guy who denied he was going to invade Ukraine days before he did it.
But that said, he’d be a fool to attack a NATO country. He can’t even subdue Ukraine.
“We keep threatening to nuke European countries in jest.
Just harmless fun.” Vlad

Zeepers are looking for new members this month.
Have you considered taking the pledge?
Keep them guessing.
Exactly
If Europe is going to worry about who is going to attack them, it should be the country that took out the Russian gas pipe line.
By now they know who that is and they know it is not Russia.
The attack on that pipeline was both an attack on Russia and Europe.
My first guess would be the US CIA for the organization responsible for the attack.
Meanwhile, here's an article from January, 2022: Russia denies looking for pretext to invade Ukraine
Going to have Cossacks occupying Paris again...
Both can be true. Russia isn't going to take over all of Europe any time soon, but that doesn't mean it can't make a mess of things and kill a lot of people with its reckless aggression.
And we should believe him why?
You negate #2 in your second sentence.
You remind me of Rick James talking about Eddie’s couch.
I think he’s telling the truth. Unless you expect nuclear war, Russia has no capability to attack NATO. Their invasion of Ukraine is a long hard slow slog, all they can do to inch westward against a drained and exhausted opposition. NATO is no juggernaut itself at this point, but air superiority would be a fact, basically rendering any serious attempt at a ground offensive suicidal. It took them a year just to occupy Bakhmut, a town of maybe 70,000 people. Another year to take Avdiivka. This is not the Soviet cold war Red Army of 60,000 tanks and 5 million men.
Never forget the Brezhnev Doctrine:
What’s mine is mine. What’s yours is negotiable.
