I’m just like you, will crawl on broken glass to get my vote in for Trump, but I still appreciate seeing a governor PLAYING OFFENSE against the Left.

Here in Texas, our governor (Abbott) is a decent conservative, but our State House is PATHETIC (remember the impeachment of Paxton), and like many states is comprised of politicians* running as Republicans, rather than conservatives.

*meaning that if this were a blue state, they’d run as Democrats, and they are STILL Democrats in many aspects when it comes to supporting conservative values.

when will he do all he has authority to do to stop illegals entering or roaming through his state?

all these other laws and stuff wouldn’t be needed much if he would do his job and secure Fl borders not ship illegals around, or let them in his state to mill about and harm Citizens and their property there or other states.

It was in response to someone questioning where “squatters’ rights” came from. That’s where it came from, but that’s not today’s context at all.

Back in the pioneer days, it was not uncommon for the original home builder to abandon it in disgust, or get scalped by Indians, or just fall down a ravine somewhere. And there were no records unless the absentee filed a “government claim,” in which case he had to either work his claim or lose it to a more industrious person.

Liberal, leftist talking heads put criminals back on the street, and the criminals rape, pillage, burn, murder.

That activity is not “hard.”

How hard is this to do? Every state that cares about its responsible property owning citizens can enact such laws. Red states must do this first to lead the way.

Contrast this Florida laws with anarchic blue states such as NY. The Guv employees there only care about their paychecks and pensions. The NY lawmakers in their legislature will do nothing. They are too DEI and too stupid.

These days are not those days. My point still stands. If you invest time, money, and work in a piece of land you did not buy or pay for, then you have no cause for complaint when the rightful owner shows up to claim it. Be grateful for the living it provided you with for the time you had it, but there’s no reason to expect anything more.

Squatting should not be legal. It’s theft, plain and simple.’

I should not have to be home bound 24/7 just to make sure nobody steals my property from me while I’m at work or on vacation.

My understanding is that you are Jewish.

Do you not known what God has to say in the Torah about property rights?

Why does Proverbs 23:10 tell us not to remove the ancient landmark?

https://www.gotquestions.org/do-not-remove-ancient-landmark.html

Deuteronomy 19:14 “You shall not move your neighbor’s landmark, which the men of old have set, in the inheritance that you will hold in the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess.

Deuteronomy 27:17 “‘Cursed be anyone who moves his neighbor’s landmark.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

Proverbs 22:28 Do not move the ancient landmark that your fathers have set.

And there are more passages about property rights in the Law and Prophets that God mentions.

Inheritance of land by families is important to God and taking it is theft.

What you say makes sense in this day and age. But in the mid-19th Century frontier, things were different. Anyway, these creeps did not invest sh!t in anything. They’re just brazen thieves, and if they’re operating a whore house and crack den across the street from your house in a residential neighborhood, they could well afford to just buy something elsewhere not as disruptive. They might be doing that for some sleazebag blockbuster realtor to drive property values down so they can buy up houses cheap. The squatters are not pioneers on the prairie, and “squatters’ rights” are irrelevant to this day and age.

No complaints. I might even vote for him in 2028, provided he makes peace with Trump and supports his run in the interim.

He had a lane, then Trump got indicted. Once the left indicted Trump, it was over for Ron.

It was over for him for ingratitude and disloyalty to his benefactor beforehand. But in the final analysis, he is a good governor, and that will count for something a few years down the line.

No, it's his loss for listening to bad advice.

I love that he's back to doing good things here, but in Florida we are remembering what he did when he left the state to rot for six months. It's why he couldn't even beat Haley in his home state primary.

If he had not been such a fool in trying to help the left take out Trump, he would have been much better off.

You said you would support Trump if he won the nomination, when are you going to start doing that?

Nah.

He still hasn’t secured the state’s elections or protected its budget from Deep State blackmail.

Florida already took steps to secure the electoral process after the 2000 kovfefe. They haven’t had problems since, and it’s consistently red.
