Howdy, luvie.
That is such a cool image.
Are your temps still comfy or is it warming up already? Cool with a biting little north breeze here.
Thanks, Kathy. I love those kinds of shots. We must NEVER forget about them! โค๏ธ
It’s still on the cool side. The warm-up really begins on Friday and peeks I guess on Sunday. Then back to decent.
I guess y’all sort of have our yesterday’s weather. You’ll be warming for the weekend still, too, huh?
We’ll warm up a bit Friday, then more over the weekend, peaking Monday with the temp at 80 or a little more. We cool off again Wednesday after Stormy weather Tuesday.
Down into the low 30s tonight. BRRRRRR Clouds kept us in the 40s last night and there’s some light cloud cover tonight. If that doesn’t move out, we might stay a little warmer than predicted.
I’m tired of cold.
I think we’re both ready for “moderate”. High 70s to mid-80s with low 60s at night. I’m NOT ready for 90s to 100s with high 70s to mid-80s at night. Bah!
Yes, some moderate for a while would be great. Highs in the 70s for a few weeks would be sublime.
I’m all for that! Till ohhhhh, say October! LOL!
Of course, that’ never going to happen, so I guess we’d both better get prepared for the summer, like it or not. I’m NOT! :)
Til November would be even better. LOL
Just have to roll with the punches and deal with whatever weather is thrown at us. Maybe we’ll get lucky and this will be a summer that isn’t so hot. They come along once in a while. We had a summer not all that long ago with a long stretch of highs in the low 70s, and we needed it hotter for the crops. We had soybeans that year and the beans were on the small side.
Yesterday at Wichita Ridge:
How's everyone doing this morning?
If we’d have one of those summers, I’d be so happy!
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
I hope it was a little warmer, for your sake, for your outing with Gizmo yesterday. We know Gizmo doesn’t mind if it’s brisk. LOL
I know you’d love it. LOL We didn’t mind it at all other than knowing the crops needed more heat and sunshine to grow better.
Also, because city hall is closed for Good Friday today, we will do a 5 day set of visits to Comanche Lake starting today. When city hall closes, the dog catcher takes the day off.
We have another day to wait for our warm-up and the weekend looks to be delightful. I hope it’s that way over there.
The dog catcher shouldn’t be a problem for you because you always keep Gizmo on the leash. Or does he not like dogs out there at all?
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...Gizmo looks like he had a grand time at Wichita Ridge. He sure loves to find good rolling around spots, and cooling his paws in the water.
You boys have a great time on Thursday.
Well, the only crop we have in this county is weeds and mesquite bushes, so bring on the cool summer! LOL!
There was so much outrage over it that they backed off some but they still do it occasionally.
People tend to remember these things when they go to the polls. It's not exactly a good look for the city.
The reason I keep Gizmo on a leash is because he's had a history of running off like Bo did. The only time I let him off the leash is when I take those headshots.
Still you should never let your dogs run around without a leash at the lake, especially when there are people around.
Best thing is to let people report it though instead of fishing around for things like this just for revenue raising.
Y’all could certainly use a cool summer for a change. You’ve had some scorchers lately.
I know too well about revenue “enhancement”. We had a bad problem in this Podunk Nowhere town several years ago and it was finally put to a stop. It still happens once in a while, like when they hire a new police officer. Gotta make a good impression!
We have, but then you have, too. Not to mention all the pollen that we don’t have to deal with. We have some, but it’s never turned our vehicles yellow. LOL! Oh...except when we went to visit friends that had bluebonnets. Bluebonnets produce a LOT of pollen it seems.
