A fire alarm led to the discovery of a large quantity of drugs in a Berkeley County woman's home.
Dietra Drayton, 40, is charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute, marijuana, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and distribution within a half-mile proximity of a school. Her arrest was announced on March 27.
On March 22, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), a fire alarm went off at a residence on Highland Avenue in Sangaree. Fire personnel entered the residence due to it being full of smoke. Upon clearing the house, they found several suspected narcotics.
Deputies say they responded to the residence at the request of the fire personnel. They located over 7 lbs. of various color powders that field-tested presumptive for fentanyl, approximately 400 grams of marijuana, an AR-style pistol with a 31-round extended magazine, digital scales and plastic bags, six bags of purple and yellow pills, and one blender covered in a powdery substance.
According to the BCSO, Drayton acknowledged she lived in the residence. She was taken into custody by deputies.
What was the “violent crime?”
And where do you get a “31 round magazine?” I have never heard of a mag with that odd capacity.
For Glock pistols there’s 33 round magazines available...

The big house might be waiting.
7 pounds of fentanyl, as they say “enough to kill millions of people”.
As demonstrated in some other countries, we need the death penalty to discourage this kind of activity.
Am I wrong?
OK, but the article said this 31 rd. mag was for an AR.
Answering when Marijuana is found among other felonious circumstances.
33 is an odd number.
Glock or AR it makes no difference to the presstitutes.
Took awhile to discover the news source is in SC. I assume the story is too. Although the story does not exist at your link.
Singapore says no you are right.
Just about 3.5 miles outside of Summerville, SC and 15 minutes from me.
Restored link;
In addition to the pounds of colorful fentanyl, Detectives located marijuana, bags of yellow and purple pills, and an AR pistol with a 31 round extended magazine.
A 49 yrs old she’s been at this for a long while no doubt. No telling how many deaths she’s responsible for - or that she would care - they never do.
ARs can be built with a variety of uppers, in a vast selection of chamberings.
Not far from Charleston I believe.
Seven pounds? That’s enough to kill half our population! String her up!!!!
On my first visit to Singapore (20+ years ago) I saw this on the landing card they gave us on the plane.
When I saw it I almost soiled myself despite knowing that I had nothing illegal on me. Then, while waiting in line to get to the Immigration/Customs room they had a sign,in several languages, saying the same thing. And next to the sign there was a big trash barrel that said "Amnesty Bin" on it. I was so spooked that I almost tossed my blood pressure pills in it...just in case.
The Chinese are intentionally setting up their own cartels in our country since Biden opened the gates and welcomed them all in.
Draining all our resources, taking our land for cheap, drugging the citizens and stealing their houses and property and killing those who stand in their way - none of this illegal, apparently.
