Many people might have forgotten or overlooked this story from the New York Post about 12 years ago:

https://nypost.com/2012/05/17/rfk-jr-s-wife-hangs-herself/

HEADLINE: RFK Jr.’s wife hangs herself

EXCERPT:

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s estranged wife, Mary, who battled her husband’s rumored philandering by turning to alcohol and prescription drugs, hanged herself in a barn on their Westchester estate yesterday, sources told The Post.

The 52-year-old mother of four — the latest victim of a family dynasty cursed with tragedies — may have taken her own life because she was haunted by her broken marriage, her friends lamented.

[ END EXCERPT]

Mary Kennedy had previously found RFK Jr’s secret diary detailing dozens of his affairs.

If a wife driven first to booze and pills and then to suicide isn’t enough to take down a presidential candidate — and I’m aware that these days that maybe it isn’t — then I’m not sure what would anymore.

What I’m forced to wonder though is, if Kennedy’s candidacy is such a threat to Presidentish Joe Biden’s reelection, why they haven’t brought out the big gun against him.

Theories?

Someone shoot the Dems’ wad for them too early to make this old news way before November?

Beyond what you wrote, it’s pretty certain that Jr. actively goaded her into offing herself.

“ If a wife driven first to booze and pills and then to suicide isn’t enough to take down a presidential candidate — and I’m aware that these days that maybe it isn’t — then I’m not sure what would anymore.”

Sorry but you are at least 4 decades out of date. Kennedy didn’t kill his wife, and while her broken marriage may have contributed to the depression that lead her to suicide in the end she committed the act, and unless he somehow actively encouraged her to do it, trying to claim he’s the cause of her actions is just disingenuous nonsense.

End of the day, she killed herself. Husband and wife’s are cheated on daily, and the suicide is not the normal end game for them.

Thing this would destroy Kennedy in this day and age is pretty silly.

If RFK2 is still around at the end of September the big guns will be fired. The media would like people to think that since the Kennedy Clan (cult) won’t support him, then nobody will.

"Theories?"

They claimed she had alcohol and mental problems. She was arrested in May 2010 for driving over the alcohol limit. RFK, Jr. filed for divorce from her in July of that year. He had been accused of multiple affairs, and had admitted to it. I could find no that the divorce was finalized before Mary hung herself. She was in serious credit card debt, and RFK, Jr. had filed two restrains orders against her. He also wanted full custody of their four kids. RFK, Jr. met his current wife, actress Cheryl Hines through actor Larry David who is a devout Trump-hater. There was an article posted on this site today about his most recent anti-Trump rants. Apparently RFK, Jr. was involved in an affair with Hines at the time of his wife's death.

I had to laugh at one article about RFK, Jr. and Cheryl Hines. It said: "Cheryl Hines has reportedly adapted to a more active, environmentally-sensitive lifestyle." Another stupid woman who gives up her normal lifestyle in order to "satisfy" a man's beliefs. When you change in order to conform to another person's beliefs, you lose your own identity, and will eventually live to regret it. I learned that lesson 45 years ago, and vowed I would never put myself in that position ever again, and I never did.

Ted's first wife Joan had alcohol problems too. I remember articles of her being stopped by police while under the influence. It seems as if being married to a Kennedy tends to turn the wives into addicts. Gee, I wonder why.

>> the latest victim of a family dynasty cursed with tragedies <<

Could it be that these family tragedies were all self-invoked?
