Extremely Bad Timing

The timing was perfect.

The Assistant Democrat timed it perfectly to do the maximum damage to MAGA.

His exit was perfectly timed for greatest harm.

If we lose the House it won’t matter how much pride we’ll feel in culling the RINOs. We won’t have investigations or hearings on Hunter or Joe or anything else and won’t be able to stop all 3 branches of government doing irreparable harm before the election.

Too high a price to pay.

Soros must be passing out a fortune to these turkeys to spend more time with their families.

The BIG takeaway from this episode is that Mike Johnson has been unmasked as yet another careerist Deep State swamp creature.

Mike Johnson should go ahead with a vote to expul Mile Gallagher. But he won’t do that because he’s an Assistant Democrat.

Gallagher announced last month that he would not seek reelection to the seat he first won in the Trump-led red wave of 2016. Last week, he stunned Republicans in announcing that his last day would be April 19. His departure alone would effectively leave already razor-thin Republican control of the House with a meager one-vote majority. But his decision to exit after Wisconsin’s spring election on Tuesday will leave the 8th Congressional District without House representation for the better part of a year.

Extremely bad timing? More like deliberate - does he really not know it would be much better for the caucus if he resigned just a couple of weeks earlier? And if somehow he did not, that no one has since told him this since then to give him an opportunity to change his resignation date to allow for a special election?

He seemed like a better guy than this. Maybe at one time he was.

2018 all over again, GOP giving away congress to the dems by retiring or quitting en masse so dems can obstruct Trump and keep them able to still maintain the fake appearance of being conservatives. All a plan, it worked them, it will work again.

Bingo. He’s just another traitor to the American people, who sold out his constituency to take a job that no doubt was gained because of some backdoor deal.

Mike Johnson could expel Gallagher before the 9th and still have the chance to fill the vacancy.

We just did that in CD-4 to fill Buck's seat.

Thank you for referencing that article E. Pluribus Unum.

"Conservatives are angry that Gallagher’s poorly timed resignation will leave the district without representation for the better part of a year."

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

First, the bottom line ...

The broader picture is that political party and media fuss about "obsolete" electoral college is because it is the only thing stopping the corrupt political parties from establishing a permanent puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.

Regarding RINO Gallagher leaving his seat, House Democrats and RINOs, also Wisconsin Democratic governor, seem to be ignoring that the only option that the Constitution gives for House vacancies is for governor to call for election to fill the empty seat.

"Article I, Section 2, Clause 4: When vacancies happen in the Representation from any State, the Executive Authority thereof shall issue Writs of Election to fill such Vacancies."

In fact Gallagher's action and governor's inaction, other renegade states as well, is arguably lawfare against the constitutionally enumerated voting power of citizens imo, such action punishable not only under federal law, but also under Section 2 of the 14th Amendment (14A), that section a penalty for states where ballot box fraud has occurred.

Again, the broader picture is that corrupt political party and media fuss about "obsolete" electoral college is because the electoral college is the only thing stopping the corrupt political parties that have pirated control of state and federal governments from establishing a permanent puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.

Planter should be warned that if Gallagher is hired, their further government contracts would end.

I wonder how much this cost Soros.

Do you think Gallagher will declare it as income on his IRS tax form next year?

Mike Gallagher has the moral compass, character and traitorous sting of a Portuguese Man of War. No forgiveness for this turncoat.

I wonder what Gallagher’s payoff was. Cash would be too obvious, but he was bought off by something valuable to him. He could have done it the honorable way by not running for reelection and leaving Congress at the end of this year. Instead, he did this in a way most damaging to his district and to the thin Republican majority in the House. Unless he has some medical issue, the only answer is a payoff of some kind.
