President Joe Biden has set a goal of creating a national network of 500,000 publicly available electric vehicle (EV) chargers by 2030 as part of his grand all-encompassing climate agenda.

Trouble is, despite the $5 billion National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program splashing taxpayer cash for the project just Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania and Hawaii have taken the trouble to oblige, AP reports.

Green policy is about saving the planet the same way CoupFlu policy is about protecting public health.

Not working as advertised isn’t a bug for Deep State...

It’s a FEATURE.

Just like Solyndra, only a thousand times bigger.

Dem companies win contracts. Labor unions are paid off. Political contributions are paid to Dem politicians. Dem politicians get elected and re-elected. Then the Dems award big contracts to more Dem companies. Rinse, repeat.

Nothing good at all came out of Solyndra. Nothing good will come out of these charger boondoggles.

If EVs made sense, private enterprise would build a charger network. At least Musk is doing that.

Your gas pump nozzle will fit into any car in the country. Can’t say the same about EV charger plugs.

Went to a Walmart in a neighboring county yesterday and the had 6 Tesla chargers on the far side of their parking lot.

All full of course.

And this was in an up-scale area......................

Have the decided where all the energy is coming from to power
all the charging stations? It doesn’t just come out of the
atmosphere. It takes millions of dollars to establish these
systems so that all can use these chargers.

While there are less than 4.1 million publicly owned vehicles,
there are more than 272.4 million privately owned vehicles.
Together, public and private vehicles comprise the nearly 276
million vehicles owned in the U.S.Feb 10, 2023

The hardest part is the source of energy, which isn’t even being discussed.

The whole point is to get rid of ICE vehicles, and with it, personal transporation. They don’t really care if EVs work or not.
