Donald Trump has posted a $175 million bond in his New York civil fraud case, freeing him up to start appealing the massive judgment.

The Knight Specialty Insurance Company backed the bond, an attorney for the Los Angeles-based firm wrote in a court filing Monday.

Trump, 77, successfully lobbied an appeals court to lower the bond from the full nearly half-billion judgment amount to the drastically reduced figure and gave him 10 days from the day of the decision, on March 25, to post the lessened bond.

Trump is standing in their way.

If he is defeated, they will set their sights on us.

I’m not sure how this type of bond plays out, but generally
the person has to pay a percentage of the bond, and the amount
is considered the cost of the bond at the end of the deal.

Even if Trump had to only pay $17.5 million for this bond
coverage, it would see to be a very egregious amount for
him to simply have to write off to get justice in this case.

I hope the appeals court orders the state to have to cover
the cost of the bond. This kangaroo court should have to
deal with their own treachery.

Why doesn’t he stop wearing that orange makeup? Doesn’t anyone tell him it don’t look good?

The media change his skin tone with imaging software. The government-controlled corporate media does it all of the time. I've seen Donald Trump in person from no more than 100 feet away at rallies and he's not that color. Was Trump orange when he was on the apprentice? No.

I have seen Trump at less than 25 feet away at one of his rallies. He does NOT have orange skin tone.

Yup, if this crap works against Trump it will work against anyone. This election is so much bigger than just Trump. Hopefully the never Trumpers figure it out before it is too late.

Once again we're on the same page. It's outright theft where there were no parties claiming any crime or wrong occurred. This was absolutely evil "lawfare" waged on their foe whom they know stands for right over wrong, Constitution over tyranny and We The People over the Deep State.

I would find their thrashings hilarious except for so many of our fellow citizens being so stupid as to swallow the media's lies without question. I guess this is what generations of Communist-infiltrated public and college education has lead to.

How else to explain this generation's ardent anti-Semitism while supporting monsters who chopped up babies, raped women and men live AND dead while using schools and hospitals for shields. There's about a million square miles for 'Palestinians" to move to in the Arab world but those countries won't take rabid dogs bred to destroy the sliver Israel occupies.

These kids should educate themselves to not be tools...and be ashamed.

Thanks. I agree with you on all points.

Once again, the people who defend the Arabs in Gaza, are
using feelings as a basis, and not the actual history that
none of them have more than a history six months old, to
validate their claims.

Even then they allow others to twist them into pretzels
in order to buy into their bilge.

He would have to post 100% of the amount in cash, more than that with other collateral.

successfully lobbied an appeals court>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Have you ever tried to lobby an appeals court?Lobbying a court can get you into deep trouble.

Zowie.

What happend is that a motion to adjust the bond amount required was made, and based on the law and the facts in issue, the court saw fit to do so.

No one was “lobbied.”

The New York attorney general’s office is raising questions about the $175 million bond Donald Trump posted in the civil fraud case and has asked for more information to prove it’s financially sound. Democrat Letitia James, challenged the soundness of the deal and filed a “notice of exception to the sufficiency of the surety” to seek additional information from Trump or the underwriter about the bond because the insurer is not regulated by New York state.

Those Lawfare Jockies invent reasons to lash Trump. Each lash costs him legal money which bleeds money away from his campaign. A big example is the fictional account by E Jean Carroll based on an episode of “Law and Order.” All feed the insatiable appetite of the Media Mob (who pay the DemonKKKrat ticket).
