In Florida if there’s a squatter you call the police and the police remove the person. No lawyers needed, no court dates, the cops arrest they guy and it’s over in less than an hour.
I am so so happy that I moved from a deep blue state to Florida. Why doesn’t every state model their laws about squatters after Florida’s? I do not understand how laws that allowed invaders to stay in another person’s home came onto the books at all.
