Everyday it seems I encounter a business, a system, an institution, a government agency incapable of performing its mission. The entire country is breaking down rapidly.
I see the same. IMHO are at a weird time and place in society where America is over-regulated, over-indebted, bureaucracies are bloated and slow, and people are fat, unconcerned and self-absorbed - BUT while complaints are rising, life is still mostly stable and comfortable, so no one has to change.
the "release valve" so far is government debt - Leftists and the deep-state just print and spend more money. But that can't go on forever either.....

There isn’t enough of it and many capitalists are too stupid to utilize what is there.
