The Health Ministry today (Thursday) summoned all hospital managers for a planning meeting due to the threats from Iran.
Health Ministry Director-General Moshe Bar Siman Tov asked hospital directors and the heads of the health system to continue preparing for a scenario of a mass-casualty incident and to hold drills for medical staff to be prepared to treat patients and reinforce medical staff.
The meeting was held in light of Iran's threats following the assassination of a senior Revolutionary Guards leader in Damascus earlier this week.
The Health Ministry stated that "the level of preparedness of the health system has remained similar in the last six months since the beginning of October. However, the hospitals should continue to be prepared to operate as a desert island as much as necessary."

If I recall accurately, the Iranians were threatening to go after the Soviet embassy also and backed off when the Soviets essentially said they would rain hell on Tehran if their embassy and staff were seized.

It was at the time my belief that the US should have responded in that manner also. My disgust with Carter grew daily through the entire fiasco. And it has never lessened over the years.

There’s Jericho missiles. For emergency purposes, plenty of Israeli planes could make one-way devastating weapons delivery anywhere in Iran. And submarines could deliver devastating blows as well.
Given strong Iranian opposition groups, just taking out some of the heads of the snakes could solve the problem without devastation. More than one way to skin a cat.

Israel has 50 F-35i jets in service. The 35i has enhancements unique to Israeli versions.
lol.. they are not ready. But they are vaccinated. I have worked in hospitals a looong time.
If they want them to be ready, tie it to their CMS disbursement rates. That what got the flu vax and the trump vax compliance rates to about 99%. They fired and will not hire leaders who will not comply.
