Nothing quite like the “Religion of Peace”. I’ll ask everyone on this forum: what have the Muslims ever done to improve the lives of mankind, in anything, science, medicine, the arts, anything. It just seems like they care about only one thing: killing Jews and Christians all over the world.
And yet, as soon as October 7 happened, all the administration could do was talk about not discriminating against Muslims
Some of the things Muslims of medieval times gave the world: in mathematics: arabic numerals and algebra; in astronomy, many stars we identify in the sky still bear the names they gave them, such as (IIRC) Aldeberan and Betelguese; Rashad ad Din wrote histories that are important to our understanding of the Mongol Empire; Navigator Ibn Majid aided the Portuguese in navigating and mapping the Indian Ocean. There must be others.
I get your point: today's Muslim's seem to make a point of being anti-science, religeous fundementalists. And they sure seem to have their way in the world today. But there were some (relatively, at least) enlightened thinkers in the past that that have made positive contributions to Western thought.
