Pathetic Bush Republicans Don't Grasp That They're Vestigial and Won't Be Making a Comeback
PJ Media ^ | 8 Apr 2024 | Stephen Kruiser

It is undeniable that former President Donald Trump has been the catalyst for division in the Republican Party. I happen to think that's one of the most positive influences he's had on the party. A majority of the people whom Trump has driven away from the GOP are deeply entrenched establishment types who have been the bane of conservatives for decades.

They also have connections to the same two prominent Republicans.

The Opinion section of The New York Times is determined to make disaffected, Trump-loathing Republicans feel as if they still have relevance for the future of the party. Because the Times' brand is Trump Bashing, frequent opportunities are given to the wandering squishes to pen op-eds that lament the current state of the GOP and whine about Orange Man Bad. Almost without fail, the people the Times finds for this have deep ties to either George H.W. or George W. Bush.

The members of the Bush political "bloodline" held sway in the Republican Party for so long that they became cloaked in entitlement. They felt they should be allowed to keep the party wallowing in mediocrity forever. If they'd had their way, we would be dealing with Hillary Clinton's second term as president. Look at the damage Biden has done in just three years. Imagine being in the seventh year of Granny Maojackets' Franzia-soaked rule.

That would have mattered not to them — they'd still be getting quality cigar and cognac time in at the Capitol Hill Club, listening to a fiddler whilst Washington burned.

To be fair, they still have some chunks of DHS, Justice, etc in their factional grasp.

“frequent opportunities are given to the wandering squishes to pen op-eds”

The same holds true for every broadcast “news” platform especially the Sunday morning shows.

“It is undeniable that former President Donald Trump has been the catalyst for division in the Republican Party.”

Cannot even get the FIRST SENTENCE right. The ‘catalyst for division’ regarding the Republican Party was when the party leadership JETTISONED its voting base to cozy-up to the Big Money, with their support for Amnesty being the clearest example. And that was MANY YEARS before Trump even considered running.

There was a good article by an ex-NPR journalist who asserted that all 87 of the top NPR executives in DC are Democrats and that they suppressed any positive news for Trump during both elections. The difference with the rest of the media is that NPR is funded by us through taxpayer dollars. This should be the first recipient whose funding is zeroed out after Trump takes office, and hopefully he does.

I’m for anything that moves the Republican party to the right. If it takes a civil war within the party, so be it.

Moderates and RINOs are toxic to a conservative agenda.

No more Bushes. No more Doles. No more McCains. No more Romneys.

And write books about their “amazing” lives and “contributions “ to society. (Bill Clinton comes to mind). If that black owned bookstore in North Carolina would’ve just held on a little bit, they would be raking in the dough… Right? 😉

Every politician should be terrified to show their faces in public anywhere these days. They have effed up so much and proudly display their mental illnesses like a badge of honor. That they are not tells me we are screwed

Who’s going to tell that to Karl Rove? He was seen at Wal-Mart shopping for a bigger dry erase White Board!

That banana head Jorge P. was supposed to be AG of Texas by now. Ran as a fake conservative. Nobody was fooled.

Every time I see a wounded vet I think of them and the Cheneys and remind myself what human garbage they are.

We are on to log cabin republicans with Melania . Abortion, then why not pedophilia returned to the states. We might lose if the log cabin dudes can’t molest our children.
Winning is all that matters.

When Trump is “gotten rid of,” and MAGA is banned, only the bushites will be permitted to represent the so called GOP (RINOS all). They will be permitted by the Democratic-Progressive to exist as a straw-man to fool people into believing we live in a two party republic. The mega party, ruled by the uber-rich and all powerful media—an aristocracy of wealth and power that plans to rule for one hundred years.
A chain of “Elected” puppets to live in the White House and keep the play moving so the rich can get richer. A divided people are easy to rule—but they don’t do so well in a real war. Tell me I am wrong—please.

You don't have to worry, imo. With the invasion of foreigners
and the open borders of today the Republicans are gone/doomed
to not be in the White House again. And reduced to little or no
impact on local gov’t as time progresses.

But then the world is ever changing so nothing new. Just look
as the land called the USA and changes since Columbus sailed.
The new comers came, put the native redskins on reservations,
brought the Africans in to do the grunt work, both male and
female. A civil war was fought in the 1860s, the south lost and
the slaves were freed.

Now we are looking at life, etc on the moon and various types of
space vehicles. No more ponies needed. It will be soar Clyde soar .

Right on. It was the Bushites who took the party where the rank and file wouldn’t go.

Trump is not allowed to zero out money from the budget. That went to the SC and the president can only veto the whole budget, bill, continuing resolution...whatever it is.

A few republicans have been trying since the 1980s to eliminate NPRs subsidy...it’s just a small part of their budget, but still, it should be zero.

The subsidy always survives for one reason or another.
