If by some miracle, Trump wins the 2024 election, Congress and the courts will use their power to reign in his executive abilities. They did this to him during his first term, even when Republicans controlled the house and the Senate.
Too many in the Republican party are worse than worthless. Even those who are not working to further the Democrat agenda, are mostly much happier when they are in the minority. Then they can be invited to all the right parties and campaign on conservative issues that they have no intentions of trying to enact when in power.
