President Joe Biden’s Justice Department has uncovered "inconsistencies" in Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis’s use of federal grant funds, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.
The bombshell discovery comes two years after Willis fired a whistleblower who had warned the district attorney that her office was attempting to misuse a $488,000 federal grant to pay for "swag," computers, and travel. It’s that same grant that the Justice Department’s Office of Justice Programs now says is plagued with reporting discrepancies from Willis’s office, errors that federal authorities only disclosed to the Free Beacon after providing contradictory statements regarding awards Willis’s office may have made under the grant.
"During our review of the award to respond to this inquiry, we have noticed some inconsistencies in what Fulton County has reported to [the Federal Subaward Reporting System] and we are working with them to update their reporting accordingly," a Justice Department spokeswoman told the Free Beacon on Friday.

Making a phone call to try to move forward on investigating massive fraud...Capital Offense, worthy of mass arrests.

It would not surprise me that she ticked off a number of important people in the Party of Government and the Rich with her antics and is now regarded by them as that liability. That is probably why she is being investigated.
Since they said that they will work with them to update their reporting, my assumption is that they did find some problems and will make sure they’re fixed before someone else finds them.
Wait for the: “Lack of intent” get out of jail free card to be played.

She’s going after Trump. Of course she is protected form everything. We understand how it works.
Clearly the government has too much money to waste. They need to cut taxes by 15-20% to reduce the waste.
Fulton county democrat caught with her hand in the till. Color me shocked!
Things are never as they seem in government. There are no coincidences. There is always an objective and an agenda.
That the DOJ is doing something at all tells us a lot. Maybe a defensive smoke screen?
That the information about the DOJ investigation leaked out tells us something more, that they WANT it out there.
Is it a message to Willis? Is it a message to Trump? To all the other “investigators” of Trump?
We need to shrink the GD government by 75%. Most of our ills can be traced to gangster government.
