Hamas has told negotiators it does not have 40 Israeli hostages that it can release as part of a temporary cease-fire deal with Israel, a source familiar with the talks confirmed to The Hill.
The admission raises questions over how many of the remaining hostages kidnapped Oct. 7 are alive and who is holding them. Israel says 129 hostages out of more than 240 abducted that day — mostly Israelis and dual nationals — have yet to be released.
The Biden administration is pushing a plan to have Israel and Hamas agree to a six to eight week cease-fire that is contingent on Hamas releasing hostages, a group that includes older men, civilians and both male and female Israeli soldiers who have been held for 187 days.

The best idea is, either they hand over the hostages (living or not), or their entire self-imposed garbage dump that is Gaza gets bulldozed and its Arab squatters expelled. Permanently.
What about the AMERICAN HOSTAGES???
Level Gaza. Completely. Grind the rubble to fine dust. Compost anything organic. Settle it with Israeli farmers.
Between Israel’s bombing and Hamas killing them because they’re an impediment and security risk if they’re seen moving around, my guess is almost all of them are dead now.

I’ve thought the majority were already dead. Pray for the souls who have already gone to God, and pray harder for those who might remain.
So, now time to accept that 250 hostages are dead, time to raze what remains of Gaza, kill every last member of HAMAS, accept the surrender of their supporters, else kill them as well.
So they killed the hostages. They don’t have anything to negoatiate with.
But I’ll bet the Hammies know where some are.

It’s remarkable that men of sophistication with long experience in military and diplomatic affairs seem to believe any of those hostages are still alive.
Even Obama-Blinken stooge Benny Gantz is now saying:
“We will enter Rafah. We will return to Khan Yunis. And we will operate in Gaza. Wherever there are terror targets - the IDF will be there.”
Yes, let’s kill them all.
Because Jared Kushner is getting impatient.
Condos and resorts are waiting to get built, as well as access to trillions of cubic feet in natural gas.

Best to act as if they are all Dead. But what can the Israelis do? They have limited options. If they go for a “Final Solution” in Gaza they will be seen by the world as monsters. If they pull out, they well be seen as weak and losers—that would give Mamas a victory. That would only set themselves up for another October 7th. down the line. The dream of Israel is dead. Some solutions do exist—two state means cut Israel in half and give half to palis, build a wall and have no communication between the two states? Would that work? I do not think so. Have all Jews move away back to Europe and USA and let the Palis turn it into a failed state? That may well be the final fate of the Jewish State.
There is just too many Palis and too few Jews. It is a complex problem made worse by bad actors like Iran pulling the strings.
Not anymore thanks to Biden.
