I watched the video and you are very wrong.
They knocked him down and then several of them were attacking him while he was in his back in the water. THEY are the ones who didn’t de-escalate.
There were several of them, and one of him. He’s just supposed to stand there and take a beating?
Yes on the knocked down but what you didn’t see was the first strike because no camera recorded it.
Every single witness there…I mean everyone…said he struck the woman first because she was in his face. That was under oath in-court testimony. That’s when the drunk teens over-reacted and attacked him.
