On June 25, 1962, 39 million students were forbidden to do what they and their predecessors had been doing since the founding of our nation – publicly calling upon the name of the Lord at the beginning of each school day.
The New York school children had simply prayed: “Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence on Thee and beg Thy blessing over us, our parents, our teachers and our nation.”

I hope whatever personal dirt he’s hiding gets outed ASAP. He deserves it.
IN addition to that, I can’t count the number of churches that no longer have a mid-week prayer meeting. Or ANY corporate prayer meeting, for that matter.
When churches which bear the name of Christ don’t even bother to meet together to pray any more, is it any wonder why this country’s moral decline is accelerating at such a breath-taking pace?
I think they’d need to have a reason to actively monitor someone in the first place.
I don’t think it’s right or necessary to scoop up all of our communications the way that they apparently do; but I don’t think they’re listening to random people out here, either. That would be an incredible - and impossible - waste of time and money.
Congress still has its ‘National Prayer Breakfast’ and opens every session with prayer.
That’s not stopping our ‘decline’ - or the decline of Congress itself.
I know.
But of all people, Christians should be praying.
And corporately, at that because it’s more than just our political leaders. It’s society and culture at large.

I don’t think anyone here objected to her desire to dump this a—hole hiding behind his religion, we just think her timing stinks in that she will hand the speaker gavel to Jeffries!

You get an email or phone call from out of the blue from someone you never heard of and CONGRATULATIONS you're a target too!
