Homeless NYC migrant who ‘swiped’ historic FDNY boat freed without bail — immediately strikes again: sources

Boat Boy is back at it — and they can’t even ship him home.

The homeless migrant who was busted joyriding on a historic FDNY fireboat and then swiping a sailboat for another leisurely ride was released without bail Friday — only to immediately try to climb aboard an even bigger ship in Manhattan, according to sources, who said immigration officials’ hands are tied.

“Welcome to New York,” said Eric Fischer, vice president of Friday’s ship, the Frying Pan.

Juan Hernandez, 22, of Ecuador was set free by Judge Marva Brown on Friday morning after allegedly taking the former FDNY-owned vessel John J. Harvey on a wild journey down the Hudson River early Thursday before swiping a sailboat in Chelsea for another jaunt.

By noon Friday, the alleged boat bandit was back on the street and trying to get onboard the Frying Pan — a 133-foot lightship that boasts a popular floating restaurant at Pier 66, according to workers and owners.

A bar worker on the ship said he confronted Hernandez after spotting him trying to slip through a gate onto the barge. The migrant was wearing khakis and a black hoodie with an orange logo on the back at the time.

“I was like, ‘What the f–k are you doing here?’ ” said the worker, identified only as Mario. “I told him to go away. He started talking s–t, and he ran away.”

“The seafaring thief was back,” she said. “He was very belligerent. … He demanded to come on to the barge.

-snip

“If he was charged with two counts of grand larceny, why was he released from jail?” Krevey said of Hernandez’s illicit maritime excursions Thursday. “I don’t get this city, I really don’t.

“I want my city back,” she said.

Here’s an idea. Start voting Republican. And tell your friends and family to start voting Republican. It’s your only chance.

Anyway, I wonder how she voted in NYC’s 2021 mayor’s election. The results:

Woke racist Eric Adams: 67%
Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa: 28%

He was released from jail because that’s what you voted for.

I wonder how many repubs there are in NYC that could or would run for office?

Will the one registered republican in NYC please stand up?

Is there one?

This is NYC. I do not see a problem with his behavior; he seems, so far, to be doing what authorities have said he could do.

Now if he gets into my latitudes our Sheriff will take him into custody, our DA will prosecute, a fair jury will look at the evidence, and, if found guilty, a judge will send him to a state facility for rehabilitation.

And most observing criminals will conclude they don’t want none of that.

I looked her up. She donated money to democrat candidates twice in 2020.

So an ilegal immigrant can steal a barge and take out a bridge and still get released.
Wait until they realize this.

There are statistics kept on just about everything these days. Is there one on “no bail” or “low bail” people who end up in trouble with the police again?

And of course on the separate group of illegals who commit crimes.

Sliwa wouldn’t have done a good job anyway, he was just a protest candidate. He’d probably would have crapped his pants on Day One of being Mayor.

I agree with you. Curtis does well doing neighborhood stuff, and that’s important, but he’d have no clue about delivering citywide services. Though he would let the cops be cops.

It really is going to have to come down to that for these people. And the judges and DAs, along with the far Left politicians will only have themselves to blame.
